Philippe Dereeper
Philippe Dereeper is STMicroelectronics’ Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer, as well as the Executive Secretary of ST’s Supervisory Board, and was appointed Executive Vice President in January 2026. He also chairs STMicroelectronics’ Corporate Ethics Committee.
Dereeper started his career in 1991 with the Economic and Trade Section of the French Embassy in Washington D.C. He then joined the French professional federation FICIME in 1993, as head of Legal and Tax affairs, and in 1995 Bouygues Telecom, part of the Bouygues group, as senior legal counsel.
In 2000, Dereeper joined STMicroelectronics as senior legal counsel. In 2006, he was appointed Group Vice President, Director Corporate Legal Affairs. In 2012 Dereeper was also appointed to serve as Executive Secretary of STMicroelectronics’ Supervisory Board, and shortly thereafter Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer.
Philippe Dereeper was born near Paris, France, in 1966. He holds a master’s degree in private and business laws from the University of Paris I, Panthéon Sorbonne (1989), a DJCE (postgraduate diploma of higher studies in legal management of business organizations) and DESS in business law from the University of Toulouse (1990), and a certificate of advanced studies (CES) in distribution law from the University of Montpellier (1990).
